Change Your Attitude
I spent about two hours on our drive from Tucson to Los Angeles (still en route) writing a new blog post about the Boston Marathon. I had one of those rare moments where creativity was oozing out of my fingertips.
I don't like that I lost it, but I can't change it. It's not the end of the world, so I changed my attitude.
I was all finished except I wanted to add some photos to spice it up. Before I hit "publish," I closed the Blogger app. for a hot second to save a few pics. Once I reopened the application...poof! It was gone. It had failed to save as a draft and there was no recovering it.
Sure, it stinks. It really stinks, but in the grand scheme of things it's not a big deal and it's my fault for not copying or saving it. If anything, it taught me a lesson to make sure I always back up my files so I don't lose them.
So instead, I channeled one of Casey and I's favorite quotes that we've used a lot in 2014. One that I would like to share with you:
We love this quote and it can be applied to so many situations.
Life is too short to be unhappy.
Find the positives and change your 'tude.
Rather than reading a drawn out post on my feelings regarding Boston, you now have an awesome quote to stick in your back pocket to use on a rainy day.
And to top it off, here are a few photos of our cute neighbors and friends at the Pima County Fair...
WHAT'S ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE QUOTES?
