Throwback Thursday: NYC

I don't know if the Throwback Thursday trend really applies to anything that just happened a couple of months ago, but we're just going to go ahead and pretend like it does. Here are a few pictures taken in September and November from our time in New York. Enjoy!

This was taken in mid-November.
When do they change the ball to 2014 and prepare for NYE NYC?
Our friend, Emily, works at Live Nation and told us a hilarious story about how a lot of tourists or aspiring musicians take their picture in front of this door usually posting, "If I can make it here, I can make it anywhere!"
So...we did just that.
The view from Emily's office.
The Whiskey Brooklyn: our first experience with a Spicy Pickelback...woof.

One of these days I'll win the [NYC Marathon] lottery.
We've been to 18 ballparks together (only "counts" if we see a game) and driven by, toured or seen an additional five (Oakland, Houston, NYx2|Mets/Yanks and KC).

Hi Line a.k.a. the coolest urban park you've ever been to.
Little gems like this are what make NYC so magical.
Two words: Brooklyn Brewery.
You have to go!
Tip: Go around 6 p.m., get the tokens, drink their brews and have a helluva good time with friends.

Original Shake Shack
(No, I did not break my vegetarian streak--this is Casey's scrumptious order)
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE PLACES IN NEW YORK CITY?
Not pictured but equally delicious: pumpkin pancakes from Skylark Diner in NJ (Diners, Drive-ins and Dives spot) and Ruby's (in NYC) was one of the cutest, smallest and most reasonably priced restaurants we've ever been to in the Big Apple.
WHERE SHOULD WE GO THE NEXT TIME WE'RE THERE?
