Sightings: St. Louis and Chicago

We saw Spirit of the Marathon II on June 12. Loved it! I still think the original "Spirit of the Marathon" is better but I'm excited for the chance to meet Mimmo or dine in at his restaurant in Rome.

Here is a little photo potpourri from the past three weeks as we've bounced back and forth between Chicago and St. Louis spending as much time as possible with our families.

Pint size curling iron for traveling.
To my fellow female roadies, we need this!

Mom's Survivor rose.

I saw this on Instagram and thought it was the cutest thing ever.

Enjoying the best kind of coconut water, straight from the source.
Purchase young coconuts at your local grocery store (around $2.99), but if you live in a large city you can find them cheaper at your local Asian market (99 cents).

I love being back home and reunited with this babe.
Antique Schwinn and my prized possession.

I also love being at home because I go through multiple jars of these bad boys.
Tony Packo's pickles special ordered from Toledo, Ohio.

Look at this guy's Cardinals hat.

My mom currently has a family of groundhogs living in her back yard and we caught this snapping turtle passing through the front.

Kitty.

Hi, Chicago!

The Windy City.

We made sure we chowed down on our favorite Chicago nachos.
