Lone Star Taqueria

Thanks to Casey's wonderful brother, Andy, we were headed to Lone Star Taqueria to try our tastebuds at another "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" stop in Salt Lake City, Utah...

At first glance the thought of food escaped me as I was instead overly ecstatic just from the outdoor decor. A tagged shaggin wagon...cowboy boots on every post of their fence? If I didn't know it, I would have thought I decorated this place myself!
Everything on the menu looked mouth-watering including their salsa bar. Case opted for the original glass bottle Coca-Cola to add the extra kick he needed to his meal. I had the Carne Adovada tacos and they were beyond amazing. The quality in the meat found in these Mexican gems continues to bypass any Mexican food I have ever tasted.
Little "das boots" are available for order...
Outdoor patio.
Overall, we give two thumbs up to Lone Star Taqueria. Definitely a place worth visiting not only for the affordability and quality of food but also for the unique atmosphere and zero disappointment factor.

Update: We went back to Lone Star Taqueria a second time before leaving Salt Lake City and it was just as delicious as the first time we visited! Thank you Andy Garms for introducing us to such a wonderful place!
